UCSF Bioethics is starting two regular event series - a clinical ethics journal club, focused on serving the needs of our members at the five UCSF affiliated hospitals, and a bioethics research series that will provide a venue for empirical scholars to share their work and build skills, such as finding bioethics related funding. The clinical ethics journal club will start January 27th, 2022 and will happen regularly on the 4th Thursdays of the month, from 4:00-5:00pm.
The research series starts on February 17th, 2022 from 3:30-5:00pm and will repeat every 3rd Thursday. The first session in the research series will be a discussion of supported decision making with Anita Ho, PhD, MPH and Jack Chase, MD. Due to the current COVID surge both series will begin remotely; we will re-assess options for fostering in-person discussion as the situation evolves.
